MATERIALS, HARDWARE, GLASS,
WEATHER-SEAL
The finest materials
We begin by using only kiln
dried woods of the highest
quality. Our base species is
Southern Yellow Pine, renowned
for its durability and
longevity. Through bulk
purchases and special agreements
with our suppliers, we are able
to offer this superior product,
at a competitive price.

While a lot of our products are
manufactured from pine,
we produce windows and doors in
many other species, including
Mahogany, Alder, Maple, Oak,
Redwood, Douglas Fir, Pine, and
Apitong, to name a few. We have
developed an extensive network
of suppliers that allows us
access to the vast domestic and
foreign lumber markets,
guaranteeing that we can utilize
virtually any species of wood
imaginable.
NEW WORLD TECHNOLOGY
While using the best raw
materials and tried and true
joinery and assembly methods
ensures that our products look
great and are durable, it is
their modern components that
make them an excellent choice
for today’s architects,
builders, and homeowners.
KEEPING
OUT THE WEATHER
Our windows incorporate a double
weather seal to prevent against
air and water infiltration.
While many companies rely on
only one seal, we find that it
is virtually impossible to get a
good night’s sleep knowing that
only one thin layer of plastic
rests between a driving
rainstorm and the expensive
furnishings typically found in
our clients’ homes. Two seals
are better—we’ll sleep easier,
and so will you.
Weatherstripping may seem
sufficient, but we’ve integrated
additional components to further
guard against water
infiltration. If water should
penetrate the first weather
seal, it immediately encounters
a drip-groove in the window
sash. This directs any moisture
towards the window’s sill, and
towards the exterior of the
house. Of course, even if this
should fail, there is still the
second weather seal to contend
with.
Dual weather seals and
drip-grooves are only effective
if the sash and frame come
together properly. In order to
ensure an extra tight fit, we
use Truth Hardware’s
Entrygard sash lock. The
Entrygard is a top-quality
lock, forged here in America.
The locks firmly pull the sash
against the frame, ensuring that
the inner weather seal is
properly engaged.
HARDWARE THAT'S GUARANTEED FOR
LIFE
Many of our windows utilize
genuine Truth Hardware.
Conventionally sized casement
and awning units are outfitted
with Truth’s top of the
line Entrygard dual-arm
operators, ensuring a lifetime
of smooth, easy operation.
Pivoting casement hinges allow
for easy cleaning of window
exteriors from the inside, and
double-hung sash tilt in for
easy access.
All surfaces of the operators
and hinges exposed to the
weather are treated with a
space-age coating that guards
against the formation of rust,
or any other weathering.
Stainless steel is also
available for projects that
experience extreme conditions.
We offer locking and operational
hardware in either a bronze or
bright white finish. Other
finishes are available through
special order. In addition to
standard operator styles,
motorized, remote control units
are available for many
configurations, as are folding
handles and other accessories.
While Truth hardware is standard
on our units, we can also design
custom units to accommodate the
decorative, architectural, or
period hardware of your choice.
Old world craftsmanship
We strongly believe that our
product is among the finest
available, at any price point.
In order to guarantee windows
and doors of the highest
quality, we use only the best
raw materials, lifetime
guarantee operating hardware,
and state of the art glazing
options. Our windows and
doors are painstakingly
assembled by highly skilled
craftsman in our Spring Valley,
California, facility, just
minutes from downtown San Diego.
We take great pride in the work
that we produce, and it
shows.
